Senior Finance Business Partner

We are currently assisting a Government Agency to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner.  The role will be responsible for supporting divisional teams by providing regular reporting and analysis of budgets, forecasts and KPI.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting divisional teams for the development of their annual budget and resources allocation plan
• Producing monthly financial reports, variances acquittals and returns, contract pricing reviews, and project portfolio reporting
• Monitoring the accuracy of information in financial management system (budgets, forecasts, actuals, journal adjustments, project costs…)
• Ensuring compliance with corporate financial control requirements
• Providing training on finance related activities (ex. budgeting module)
• Identifying and providing recommendations on process improvements

To be successful in this role, you will have previous relevant experience in management accounting, and a relevant tertiary qualification (accounting/finance).  Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of spreadsheet will be essential.  Additionally, the successful candidate will bring high analytical skills, good problem solving and management experience.
