About the Role
The Senior Finance Business Partner is an integral position within the Finance Business Partnering function of the Finance Division responsible for providing effective and efficient financial Business Partnering services to internal clients. These services include financial budget and forecast development, actual financial performance monitoring, analysis and reporting, and project/program financial management.
The role necessitates proficiently leading and overseeing staff in delivering Finance Business Partnering services. Additionally, the individual will need to offer expert guidance to internal stakeholders, employing strong engagement, creative problem-solving, and specialized financial management skills to aid in decision-making and enhance business performance.

To be successful in the role, the Senior Finance Business Partner must effectively oversee, inspire, and foster the growth of staff to deliver top-notch financial Business Partnering services aligned with established strategies and policies. Moreso, you will provide expert counsel, facilitate internal client communication, and uphold financial integrity and compliance with governmental regulations, ultimately enhancing decision-making and business objectives achievement and Lastly you must have a strong engagement, interpersonal, and communication abilities to cultivate productive relationships with internal stakeholders and employ advanced problem-solving acumen to innovate and optimize financial Business Partnering frameworks, systems, policies, and procedures.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated successful experience in providing Finance Business Partnering services to internal clients.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in developing and maintaining strategic working relationships and working collaboratively with Internal clients in the provision of financial Business Partnering services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage employees in providing financial Business Partnering services.
- High level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to interpret and report financial information to support internal client decision making and business performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
Mandatory
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant or a related discipline.
• Relevant Finance or Accounting degree which includes all foundation requirements for entry into CPA
