Meat at Billy's is a family owned butcher, established in 2009. We are a busy and progressive business with a long established customer base.
Meat at Billy's group of companies comprises retail butcher stores at Ashgrove and Rosalie, a warehouse/head office at Windsor and Eat at Billy's at Rosalie. We are seeking a part-time experienced bookkeeper to join our growing business, with the main focus being Payroll and HR. The role will also encompass other bookkeeping duties such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proficiency in XERO & Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Payroll
- Knowledge of Payroll - Payroll, Superannuation, Entitlements, WorkCover and Payroll Tax
- Qualification Cert IV in Bookkeeping, or above
ABOUT YOU
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with administrative and management teams
- Enjoy working in a fun, light-hearted environment whilst getting the serious stuff done!
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of Employment Contracts (as per templates)
- Induction of new employees
- Processing weekly Payroll in an accurate & timely manner, in line with Company policies, Industrial instruments & procedures
- Preparation of Payroll Tax Returns (½ yearly)
- Preparing monthly reports
- Preparing monthly Superannuation returns
