Senior Financial Accountant

• 4 month FTC, Commence ASAP
• CBD office, Hybrid model

Our client based in Brisbane CBD, require the immediate assistance of an experienced Senior Financial Accountant for year-end support. You will work within a close-knit team with a supportive leader. The role will include monthly and quarterly financial reporting, reconciliations, fixed asset management, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Once up to speed you will be able to work on a hybrid model. This 4 month fixed term contract has the possibility to be extended or to be made permanent depending on the Business needs. 

The Role 
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include, 

• Monthly & quarterly GL reconciliations
• Preparation of financial statements
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders 
• Adhoc year end assistance 

About you 
The successful applicant will have/be, 

• CA or CPA qualified with well developed reconciliations skills 
• A strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously 
• Ability to pick up processes with ease and enjoys a supportive role 
• A professional and positive team player
