About The Role
- Within this position, your responsibilities encompass a broad range of crucial tasks, including but not limited to:
- Developing and establishing policies and frameworks for regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and head office reporting.
- Guiding and overseeing the Bank's reporting preparation process to ensure the presence of robust controls and procedures, guaranteeing accurate and timely reporting to regulators, external entities, and head office.
- Coordinating the gathering of financial data, and undertaking the preparation and meticulous review of financial reports and ARRA regulatory reports.
- Orchestrating the automation of financial data collection, as well as managing the implementation of the management information system.
- Handling monthly profit and loss preparation and reporting.
- Spearheading group budget and cashflow forecasting.
- Leading a proficient support team to ensure the punctual completion of all assigned tasks.
- Managing payroll and PAYG lodgement.
- Collaborating with external accountants.
- Overseeing the management of the Debtor and Creditor Ledger.
- Conducting meticulous balance sheet reconciliations.
- Executing the posting of monthly journals.
- Thoroughly reconciling monthly supplier rebates.
Your role is integral to maintaining the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of the organisation, and we are seeking an individual who can efficiently manage these responsibilities with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
About You
- 5 year + experience in commercial accounting or big 4 manager with banking industry exposure.
- CA/CPA qualification is a must.
- Large ERP suites experience is preferred.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
- Ability to define, prioritise, and organise various tasks to meet. deadlines as we have multiple reporting to different jurisdictions.
