THE ROLE
Are you an experienced Accountant with a can-do attitude and willingness to step up to get things done?
Join our client’s team as a Senior Financial Accountant and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly and year-end financial reports according to current policies and procedures.
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing accruals and performing balance sheet reconciliations. This position shall report directly to the Finance Controller and serve as the mentor for junior members within the existing team.

- Conducting the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and subsidiary ledgers every month
- Generating quarterly sustainability reports
- Acting as a signatory for payments according to approved authority level

- Facilitating and participating in external financial audits
- Mentoring of other team members
This will suit a pleasant and energetic professional with significant experience in accounting roles and, ideally, someone with knowledge of Tax Effect Accounting in the context of Corporate Income Tax.
We shall be shortlisting applicants for this opportunity who meet the following criteria:
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or CIMA)
- Relevant experience in accounting positions (
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Highly proficient with ERP software (e.g., Oracle or similar systems)
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Commercial acumen and knowledge of corporate tax
- Ability to perform well in a team and show initiative
- Adept at problem solving
- Corporate income tax experience
- Comfortable with facilitating external audits
- Ability to provide finance business partnering
- Process improvement champion
- Macro writing and Power Query in Excel
