About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Senior Financial Accountant to support the Financial Control team in the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting, including regulatory and statutory obligations, month-end close and key reconciliations and monitoring of business financial processes. The Senior Financial Accountant will also be a key representative and subject matter expert on internal projects and initiatives relating to financial reporting activities as well as working closely with the Fund’s external administrator, custodian, and other members of the Cbus Finance team to ensure an effective and efficient financial framework.
About you
- Qualified CA/CPA with 5+ years post qualification experience in chartered, trust/fund or a corporate accounting role
- Demonstrated experience working within superannuation, custody business or investment, as a preference
- Very good knowledge and experience using Oracle Cloud
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good judgement and initiative to financial data
- Highly organised and able to work to financial deadlines and changing priorities within stringent timelines
