Robert Half is currently recruiting a qualified Financial Accountant, who will be responsible for the delivery of the financial reporting for a leading services company based in Melbourne's CBD. This temporary role will be for a six-month period.
The organisation is highly respected in its industry and boasts a high-performing finance team. You will be responsible for the organisation's timely and accurate financial reporting.
If you have several years' proven financial accounting experience in a similar role and are immediately available, this would be a great opportunity for you.
The Role
Reporting to an impressive and supportive Finance Manager some typical duties will involve:
- Monthly department reporting and feedback on budgets and performance to budget
- Measurement of expenses and income against budget for variances
- Monthly Reporting to Senior Level Stakeholders
- Timely and accurate production of financial reports
- Complex general ledger reconciliations
- BAS and other compliance reporting
- Assist Finance Manager with EOY Audit
- Overseeing of payroll including ensuring accuracy of general ledger accounts

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role with an SME entity and are happy to roll-up-the-sleeves".
