The role
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Financial Accountant will lead a small team, driving financial excellence within our business. This hands-on role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including team leadership, financial data analysis, business insights, compliance, and process improvement.
The Senior Financial Accountant has the responsibility for leading and guiding a small team responsible for, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Reception/Administration.
You will be responsible for collating and analysing financial data and providing valuable insights to support decision making, experience with Power BI would be advantageous.
You maintain strong and proactive relationships with the business ensuring effective communication and collaboration whilst upholding and understanding the business compliance framework.
Contributing to the design and development of business process improvements with an emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness is what gets you up in the morning.
As with all good accounting professionals you have had exposure to financial reporting and preparation of BAS and balance sheet reconciliations.

CPA certification.
