The CompanyA leading Family Office based in the heart of the Chatswood area is currently looking for a Senior Financial Accountant. Expanding rapidly the business is currently undertaking a huge wave of growth due to several acquisitions as well as strong performance within its current portfolio/investments. At its core, the business concentrates on property and real estate assets. The RoleReporting directly to the Finance Director you'll be working in a team of 3 in finance. Your responsibilities will include:Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.Preparation of annual statutory accounts. Managing and training a transactional staff member.Responding to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising, and interpreting data.Budgets and forecasts. Providing financial advice by identifying potential complications and applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates.Preparing cash flow statements and controlling expenditure and cash flow.Conducting internal audits on key financial functions.Examining and reviewing financial records to check for accuracy. Your Skills & Experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field. Additional qualifications such as CPA or CA. Business Services experience is highly desirable. Intermediate to Advance skills in Excel. Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Brilliant organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines. Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks. What's on offer?
