A outstanding opportunity has opened up for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team for an immediate start. Reporting to Financial Controller, this role will see you champion the drive for a continue process improvement and grow in financial reporting and analytics.
This is a 6 monthsFixed Term contract with potential extension.
Your Daily Responsibilities include:
- Produce Monthly accounts which accurately reflect the financial performance of the business. General ledger reconciliation and maintenance.
- Prepare monthly BAS statements, Tax Returns and FBT Returns.
- Assist in measurement and monitoring Key Performance Indicator reports at both Total Business and Divisional level to accurately reflect business performance.
- Undertake periodic product, distribution channel and customer profitability analyses.
- Assist manager to co-ordinate all aspects of budget/forecast process to produce P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasts.
- Update budget forecasts, including cash flow forecasts quarterly.
- Assist in managing cash flow position to meet payment obligations and minimise cost.
- Assist manager to review and ensure business and financial risks are assessed and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
Experience and Skills that we look for :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finance Management position (preferably within a FMCG/Manufacturing environment) with a minimum turnover of $50m.
- Extensive knowledge of Acts, Regulations and Professional Practices relating to financial accounting and management.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Financial modelling skills required.
- Asia culture awareness will be highly regarded.
