The Opportunity
A fixed-term opportunity until the end of 2024. In this role you will assist the Financial Accounting team with the smooth running of the Finance function of the Company, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of the Company’s financial data as directed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of the FBT, GST and ASIC returns.
- Prepare schedules as necessary for the annual audit and tax returns.
- Month-end and year-end reports.
- Budgeting, forecasting and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
To be considered for this role you will:
- A degree in Accounting or similar subject.
- Hold your Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc) or be working towards.
- Proven financial and analytical skills with a solid understanding of Accounting Principles and Standards.
- High level numeracy, reconciliation and strong attention to detail.
- Advanced level of computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
