About the Opportunity
As Aspire continues its expansion and growth, we are looking to lay the foundations for our transition from an SME to Large organisation. This permanent full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the reform and rollout of the forecasting and reporting functions, then have ongoing involvement in the delivery of these functions.
Working closely with the head of finance and the existing finance team, you will take the lead in the design and delivery of best-practice accounts payable, forecasting and reporting processes in a multi-entity environment, as well as the integration between the Accounting Platform, CCMS Software, HR and Payroll platform and management dashboards.
This role is ideal for candidates with both proven project management and corporate reporting experience, and a desire to progress to a management role within a large organisation.
Responsibilities
- Identify, document and improve core organisational reporting requirements
- Embed best practice forecasting and reporting processes across the finance department and broader company
- Oversee and project manage the implementation of a new accounting platform/ERP
- Assign and review all tasks to team members and assist with the design and review of tasks across the team to ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are met
- Integrate reporting and dashboards for timely presentation of key financial information
- Assist in the delivery and analysis of end of month reporting, including commentary on key movements from forecast expectations
- Assist with the timely completion of all external reporting obligations
About You
- CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in forecasting and reporting environment in large multi-entity organisations
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and outcomes in previous roles.
- Proven project management experience in delivery of multi-entity ERP or similar business upgrade considered highly desirable
- Experience across a range of accounting platforms and strong understanding of best practice accounts payable procedures
- Ability to both identify and execute on business improvement and enhancement projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage teams in the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory reporting obligations
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
- Able to work across teams to identify and rectify issues and potential issues with minimal management oversight
