We are driven by innovation, technical excellence, and superior product design and manufacturing, This is a parental leave cover on a 12 months fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will manage all aspects of corporate and management reporting to support the leadership team including being involved in annual audits and budgets. The role will require coordination with the global finance team to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all financial records. You will interact with key stakeholders, successfully demonstrating the ability to collaborate across functions.
Your responsibilities:
- Participate in corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning in support of key operating areas and sales channels
- Prepare financial performance reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Manage monthly accounting close & consolidated reporting for Australia, Europe & Asia
- Lodge statutory returns including FBT, BAS, Payroll Tax
- Prepare intercompany month end journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage the bank reconciliation process and the fixed asset register
- Manage leases in accordance with US GAPP reporting requirements
- Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and year end external audits
- Oversee accounts receivable & accounts payable
About You:
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Financial Accountant with advanced Excel skills. You will bring with you:
- Demonstrated experience in cost accounting, forecasting and financial statement analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - the ability to communicate with and present to the team and executive leadership is essential
- Demonstrated competency in consolidated reporting, design and preparation of financial models
- Ability to manage complex spreadsheets and interpret complex formulas
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast pace environment
- Experienced with ERP and ERM systems and advanced Excel skills preferred
- CPA qualification is an advantage
- Manufacturing experience desirable but not essential
