Over the last few years our Western Region has been going through an unparalleled period of growth. We have been very busy delivering some of the state's largest and most iconic infrastructure projects.
To support this growth, we are now seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to join our team based in Perth. Reporting to the National GIS Manager this role will see you actively work across all aspects of the projects in the region while supporting tender activities.
As the Senior GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for spatial data management, expert GIS analysis and the creation of new spatial content relevant to the business and projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for configuring and maintain web GIS and mobile GIS applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Spatial data management across major infrastructure projects.
- Configuration of 2D and 3D web and mobile GIS applications.
- Maintenance of application content and data integrity.
- Data acquisition and model translation of Survey, BIM and GIS content and applications.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure GIS applications are implemented and compliant with contractual requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, GIS, IT or Computer Science.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role incorporating 3D survey, BIM/VDC model integrations.
- Prior experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, AGOL, FME Flow, FME Form and VertiGIS Studio/Geocortex (preferred).
- Excellent working knowledge of a wide range of Esri applications is required.
- Demonstrated experience working with survey, design, utilities, ground disturbances, heritage, environmental and land access processes.
- Well-developed communication and time management skills.
- Process driven with strong reporting skills.
