Ironstone Australia are seeking a Senior Work HSE Advisor/ Work HSE Advisor with 2-5 years’ experience.
The role will be instrumental is monitoring and assisting with the implementation of the Project’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with the development and review of Construction Risk Assessment Workshops (CRAW). Team Based Risk Assessment (TBRA) and Safe Work Methods Statements (SWMS)
- Reporting of HSE performance at project level
- Liase with client and contractors to assist with implementing, monitoring and review of the HSE Management Systems, Contractor Management and HSE initiatives.
- Attend/Conduct Prestart Meetings, Toolboxes, Training and Assessing for Project as required e.g. Project Inductions, VOC etc.
- Conduct Audits and Inspections in accordance with the HSE Activities Planner.
- Conduct Incident Investigations and develop reports as required.
- Use and Monitor MyOSH electronic Safety Software System.
- 2 to 5 Years experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or above within a Mining and/or Construction Company
- Extensive in-field experience (Minimum 8 years) working in construction, processing, Mining operations, Manufacturing, Logistics or similar.
- 2 years within an Owners Team or EPCM role desirable
- Subcontractor management experience
- Knowledge in maintaining and auditing Management Systems in accordance with ISO14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
- Moderate computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Demonstrable knowledge in WHS Legislation, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Secondary Education Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Lead Investigator and Facilitator (ICAM).
- Construction Induction Training (White Card or equivalent).
- Lead Auditor Qualified (HSE Management Systems).
- Current Certificate IV Training and Assessing TAE40116 or above.
