What's the Role:
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle.
You are an expert in planning and will schedule and monitor the manufacture of products through the plant's manufacturing process and will drive a safe, timely, and cost-effective outcome for our customers as per the deadline.
Using your influence and collaborative style of work, you will liaise with all Bradken internal sales staff regarding current and or pending orders and ensure the timely and efficient processing of all customer sales orders.
With your excellent coordination and relationship-building skills, you will ensure optimized supplier performance and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time.
As an administrative all-rounder, you will perform a range of duties such as processing sales orders, the population of data from the sales order reports to the production planning software, presenting weekly reports on manufacturing lead times and forward loads, and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Criteria:
- Considerable and demonstrated experience production planning experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar industry or heavy industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, operations management, or manufacturing
- Experience in Supply Chain will be highly regarded
- Experience in MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills is a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adjust plans quickly in response to changing demands.
This role is based in Bassendean.
