HR Partners by Randstad is representing a national FMCG organisation in the food manufacturing industry. This exciting Senior HR Advisor - 6 month temporary opportunity will be based at Macquarie Park reporting to the HRBP for NSW. Their remit will support the HBRP's lead taking care together of the full HR employee life cycle for NSW with the opportunity to shadow the other business unit in the portfolio for growth, exposure and development opportunities.
Primary responsibilities to assist the HRBP in their NSW portfolio will be both operational and strategic but not limited to:
- Managing client portfolio (two Business units - primarily operations and may be exposed to corporate) and stakeholder engagement
- May involve multi-site travel to other NSW sites but travel is on a needs based basis
- Coach and support leadership on all employee life cycle matters i.e., ER, IR, OHS, risk mitigation, Performance Management and Improvements, etc.
- Build and implement HR solutions and internal policy and process improvements
- Lead workforce planning and organisational change initiatives
- Partner with talent acquisition team for recruitment needs
- Lead performance management, reviews, compensation planning, bonus
- Strengthen P&C i.e., employee engagement and retention programs/initiatives
- EBAs framework, ER/IR and grievance handling and union dealings
- A true HR generalist (ideally minimum of 5-6 years experience)
- Tertiary and/or higher education qualification (certificate/diploma minimum) in HR or related field
- Strong HR knowledge, skills and experience
- Ideally has come from a similar industry/sector (blue collar and unionised) with exposure and/or experience to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and their negotiations and renewals
- Ideally you have a driver's license for travel to other sites in NSW
