About the role:
We are now seeking to employ an experienced Senior HR Advisor at our West Perth Office on a parttime basis – 3 days a week.
Reporting directly to the Manager for Culture, Development and Human Resources, you’ll be joining a small and tightknit HR Team and will be responsible for site support on a broad range of HR matters and will regularly travel to site to ensure you are developing workforce capability.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Support the leaders and build engagement through proactive employee relations.
• Advise and coach leaders regarding recruitment, succession planning, management of performance, org structure and cultural change.
• Support the business throughout the grievance process and workplace investigations.
• Support the business during cyclical HR processes such as salary, performance and talent review.
• Identify, recommend, support and promote opportunities to minimise turnover.
• Assist in the development and implementation of frontline leadership training.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Solid HR Generalist experience preferably in the mining sector
• Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret awards, regulations, legislation and industrial agreements
• Hold or working toward a degree in Human Resources
• Be able to travel Mount Gibson Iron Sites within Western Australia throughout your employment.
