QIC have created a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Implementation Analyst which will be part of an exciting team dedicated to manage and coordinate Inbound KYC (Know Your Client) requests from external parties.
The purpose for this position will be to establish a single point of contact for internal and experience parties QIC deal with by centralising the function within the Implementation Management Team which forms part of Investment Operations
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordination and filtering of inbound KYC (Know Your Client) requests received from external parties and via other internal teams.
- Identifying where responses can be given based on own knowledge and access to readily available documents.
- Working with, amongst other areas, the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance (RAC), Tax, Investment and Legal teams where specific subject matter expertise is required and where necessary source requested KYC information, documentation, structure charts and/or other documents from these and other departments.
- Reviewing the documents prior to release and arranging redaction/certification if necessary
- Tracking and follow up with internal teams for outstanding documents.
- Responding to KYC and AUM requests by providing the required information and documentation, in an efficient and timely manner,
- Using applications such as Markit Counterparty Manager (MCM), SharePoint etc.
- Safeguarding KYC documentation and information and ensuring that only appropriate and approved recipients are provided with access to KYC documentation and ensuring that appropriate levels of confidentiality are maintained in relation to KYC information that is provided to external parties in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate record of cases handled to produce Management Information and further develop KPI's and SLA's for dealing with requests.
- Assisting the Implementation Management Team with BAU change initiatives such as new client onboarding, product implementation, transitions, account set ups and derivative trading counterparty onboardings.
- Maintaining accurate track records with regards to ongoing and historical KYC requests which can be utilised for lookback trends and analysis and help shape future changes to processes.
- Maintenance of entity static data within core QIC systems, including setting up of new entities within various internal systems and ensuring accuracy of static data and mapping requirements throughout the platform.
Essential Criteria
- 3-5 years' experience in a funds management/finance environment in a similar role.
- Up-to-date understanding of Know your Customer (KYC) obligations, market regulations, regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent time management.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail for documentation verification, data entry and reconciliation work.
- Ability to organise, prioritize and execute tasks in a structured and repeatable way, including diligent completion of required checklists and task lists.
