The Private Sector Labour Relations Division within the Corporate Services and Labour Relations Group, plays a vital role in shaping and implementing labour relations policy and legislative reform. We strive to be a proactive regulator, promoting compliance with employment laws in Western Australia while also supporting employers and employees in understanding and meeting their workplace rights and obligations.

The role
As a Senior Industrial Inspector, you will conduct complex investigations by interpreting and applying WA employment laws, assist employees and employers to resolve disputes and proactively undertake compliance audits in high-risk industries.
To successfully undertake this role, you will need strong written and oral communication skills, an ability to interpret and apply legislation and demonstrated analytical skills.
Your investigation experience and ability to analyse a wide range of information and prepare detailed reports will be key to your success in this role.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months.
