Are you a seasoned professional in workers' compensation and injury management? We're looking for a top-notch Senior Worker's Compensation Injury and Claims Consultant to join our dynamic team in Melbourne.
About the Role:
As our Senior Consultant, you'll be the go-to expert for assessing, planning, and implementing Return to Work (RTW) programs for injured workers. You'll also develop injury management systems for employers and train supervisors and managers in RTW practices. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on case management and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of injured workers, focusing on early intervention and return to work
- Implement and review injury management systems in collaboration with employers and workers
- Develop and monitor RTW plans, liaising with all stakeholders
- Coach and educate supervisors on active injury management processes
- Manage client relationships and injury management practices for assigned accounts
- Coordinate medical services and liaise with health practitioners
- Develop claims strategies to minimise workers' compensation costs
- Allied health qualifications would be ideal, as well as 2+ years of injury/claims management experience
- In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation rules and regulations
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities
