THE ROLE:
This role is available as a 9 month Fixed Term Contract Maternity Leave Contract (allowing you the same benefits as a permanent employee, including annual leave and sick leave) however with a large finance team there are always plenty of opportunities arise. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is a great blend of financial and management accounting and funds management related accounting.
Working within a consistently high performing team, this role involves the management of various investment elements which incorporate the companies wider investment structures. This position is suited to a hands on, driven individual who can work both autonomously and be a part of a team.
Duties include:
- Act as the primary contact for interaction with external clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Responsible for the financial and management reporting of the portfolio and month-end analysis & commentary.
- Budget and Business Plan preparation & presentation and business partnering with operations.
- Responsible financial modelling and drive system and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate outgoings recovery models within the property system and excel.
- Maintain financial compliance of legislative requirements and company policies.
- Due Diligence analysis - assisting with establishment of newly acquired properties and ad hoc project work.
- Assist with onboarding and/or offboarding of real estate assets where required.
- Working with Outsourced Service Providers and other key stakeholders in relation to identifying process improvement and implementing system enhancement.
- Assist in operational property level audit requirements where necessary.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal person will have over 5 + years’ experience, a commercial mindset and strong communication skills to influence and build rapport with the business.
- Fully CPA/CA qualified.
- 5 years + experience in Financial Services / Investments Funds
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, standards and principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP Systems.
- Stakeholder focused with professional attitude.
- Business Partnering skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
