Job DescriptionThe Senior Lecturer is a member of the School of Medicine and Dentistry’s academic team. In this role the incumbent will make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of dental education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conduct research, and undertake administrative duties.
The incumbent will build upon Griffith’s already strong program of dental and oral health programs and develop clinical and research partnerships aimed at improving health and community care through the health professions. In this role the incumbent will make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of dental education with a focus on endodontics.
The incumbent will support the Dean of Dentistry, the discipline lead in Endodontics, dentistry and oral health team, and the Head of School in implementing the School’s Learning and Teaching and Research plans and will be expected to advance research-informed clinical education and research within the School.
This is a part-time (0.6FTE/60%), continuing position based at the Gold Coast campus, and it is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role.
Griffith is a multi-campus university and therefore it is understood that this position will work across campuses as/if required. As such, you may be required to work on either a temporary or an indefinite basis at any location where the University currently has a presence.
Salary Range
The base salary for Senior Lecturer (Level C) is in the range $132,666 - $152,975 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $155,219 - $178,981 per annum.

We are seeking applications from candidates who possess:
- A PhD qualification and a specialist qualification in Endodontics (Level C),
- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
