Senior Logistics Manager
The Senior Logistics Manager is a key leader responsible for overseeing all distribution/logistics processes within a CTDI facility. This senior role involves implementing warehouse operations strategies and monitoring operational performance levels. The Senior Warehouse Logistics Manager also plays a crucial role in customer relations, regularly interfacing with customers to ensure their needs are met. This position oversees both inbound and outbound warehouse functions, focusing on efficient inventory control to optimise operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary business workstreams:
- External Transfer products receiving and put-away, put-away from internal production to correct storage location, picking for order fulfillment to SLA (both internal and external orders), all shipping (all channels, domestic and international), Inventory Control Operations.
- Build a tactical leadership team to successfully lead departments/workstreams.
- Collaborate with Engineering to define physical and systematic processes and process changes and successfully plan/manage implementation for operations.
- Drive inventory metrics and analysis for the site, including system-to-system reconciliations and bin-level variances, then work with operations leaders to determine root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyse inventory and space, plus organize storage and handling of materials to optimize efficiency. This includes the ability to replan existing space for future demand.
- Plan labor to match capacity, analyse process changes for impacts on labor requirements, and communicate labor changes to Work Force Operations for support.
- Maintain customer compliance requirements for accuracy and processing times.
- Train employees on department procedures and processes and ensure that the procedures are closely adhered to.
- Coach and motivate employees to meet job expectations.
- Counsel employees on performance metrics and document deficiencies.
- Complete employee attendance records and monitor for adherence to policy. Prepare corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze various customer and internal reports, noting trends and actionable items.
- Organize and support Physical Inventories and reconciliations.
- Submit timely Inventory Reports and Root Cause to internal customers.
- Prepare action plans for new and/or existing processes that maximise efficiencies while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Works closely with the Technical Repair department to monitor turnaround and repair interval times.
- Prepare and administer daily P&L and PPL.
- Establishes usage controls and makes necessary adjustments.
- Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Research orders for customer and reports results.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Masters Degree in Business Management or a related discipline is preferred.
Inventory Control Leadership.
10+ years of warehousing/distribution management experience, preferably with pick, pack, and ship operations in a larger warehouse/distribution facility.
