- Collaborate closely with our business groups to document and monitor financial objectives, ensuring we're on track to success.
- Provide precise commercial analysis that helps drive strategic decisions to their internal customers.
- Dive into tasks such as reconciliation, KPI monitoring, monthly reporting, forecasting, and more, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Lead the charge on detailed budget preparation for our business units, ensuring financial goals are aligned.
- Be the go-to source for financial and non-financial information, always adding value to our business units.
- Knock it out of the park by meeting KPIs, providing monthly financial and FTE performance reports, and delivering monthly KPI reports to our business units.
- Drive performance improvements through insightful analysis of agreed initiatives and perform financial costing for capitalization of labour and other ad hoc analysis as directed.
- Tertiary qualification in Economics, Management, or Accounting, or equivalent experience to the table. CPA/CA qualification and membership are a big plus!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong relationship management abilities.
- Thrive in working independently, armed with robust analytical skills and a knack for complex financial modelling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint essential.
- Desired background in water/utilities or resources like oil/gas.
