About Your Role:

As an Allara Senior Client Services Manager you will play a key role on overseeing Supported Independent Living (SIL) managers and Client Services Coordinators, ensuring the effective delivery of services and support to our clients.

Duties include:

  1. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to SIL managers and Client Services Coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team. Ensure team objectives, goals and daily tasks are being completed.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of SIL services, including rostering, staffing, and client allocations, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  3. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and improve client outcomes, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  4. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, identifying areas for development and implementing training programs as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational and legislative requirements.
  6. Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Quality Assurance, to address staffing needs, implement quality improvement initiatives, and foster a positive work environment

The ideal candidate will have the following (although training will be provided for an internal candidate with the right attitude):

  1. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing disability services in Australia, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  2. Scheduling and rostering experience within the disability services sector.
  3. experience in a leadership role within the disability support sector, with demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering high-quality services.
  4. Relevant experience in mentoring teams through effective practice.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
  7. High level of computer & administration literacy including developing support plans, client risk profiles, service agreements etc.
  8. Competency in using Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Client Management Systems.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  10. Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
  11. Ability to work as part of a team and maintain good working relationships.
  12. Strong desire to provide great support to people with a disability to increase and maintain independence.
  13. Positive, energetic, can-do attitude with a passion for working with people.
  14. The ability to multitask and prioritise workload demands and cope calmly under pressure.
  15. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and circumstances, including the ability to adjust plans and strategies as necessary to address emerging challenges and opportunities.

Additional requirements and qualifications:

  1. Be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
  2. Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar.
  3. Current WWCC, Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certificate
  4. Drivers License
  5. Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
  6. Smart phone
  7. NDIS worker screening clearance.
