How will I help?This role is a unique opportunity to shape and transform the Employee Engagement and listening approach to inform key initiatives for Westpac Group. You will report to the Head of Employee Engagement and sit within the Culture and Leadership Team in Human Resources. and support the execution of the Employee Engagement and Listening strategy. This will include leading the delivery of employee listening approach & implementation of new platform, analysing employee listening results to inform key actions across the Group and measure the effectiveness of Culture & Leadership strategies and initiatives.This will include:
  • End to end delivery of our Employee Engagement survey including preparation, comms, reporting, insight and liaising with the business.
  • Partnering with our survey team and wider Culture and Leadership team, as needed
  • Delivery of employee listening strategy including design, measurement, technology, and vendor management.
  • Consulting with stakeholders to understand strategic enterprise, divisional and operational requirements and how that may influence the development of our initiatives and projects
  • Influencing and ensuring that our leaders experience our programs and initiatives in a consistent way that is in line with our desired culture.
  • Driving continuous improvement and value for the customer through the development and delivery of our projects and initiatives.
  • Applying measures to manage the operational, compliance and conduct risks of Employee Engagement including owning, managing, and accessing controls and ensuring appropriate monitoring is in place.
  • Escalate any potentially market sensitive information as per Westpac's Market Disclosure Policy.
  • Working collaboratively with a broad group of stakeholders, including:
  • Other HR CoE partners (e.g., Reward, Performance, Talent, Sourcing, HR Technology)
  • Group Capability teams
  • HR Executive Team and HR Business partners
  • Business Leaders
  • External parties and suppliers.

With a track record in Human Centred Design, you will possess the ability to understand the sentiment of our employees and apply data analysis and problem-solving skills to drive insights that inform new initiatives and strategy. With experience working with senior stakeholders, your written and communication skills will be one of your strengths, including Board and Executive Level paper writing.
