Our team partner with a range of stakeholders across compliance, change management, product, technology and operations to continuously improve Financial Crime risk management efficiency and effectiveness and ensure the implementation of legislation and policy requirements.

What role will you play?
As a Financial Crime risk professional, you will set up Financial Crime strategy, establish Financial Crime risk policy, standards, and provide day-to-day advisory on how we can manage Financial Crime risk in an effective way, including customer due diligence, AML/CTF, sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption.
You will support the Strategy and Advice Lead in establishing, maturing, and maintaining the Banking and Financial Services level guidance note to document the interpretation of the 2nd line policy requirements for a practical implementation. You will also act as a key contributor to all Financial Crime transformation project working groups for Banking and Financial Services, providing advice to project teams on how requirements should be met.
What you offer
- 6+ years experience in Financial Crime risk advisory 1st or 2nd line, within a large banking organisation. Exposure to retail and business banking products preferred but not mandatory.
- Solid technical knowledge in CDD, AML/CTF, sanctions and AB&C policy and control
- Thorough understanding of Anti-Money Laundering legislation and regulations in Australia, Sanctions and Bribery and Corruption laws/regulations implemented by Australian government and other main countries/international organizations
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders through effective communication and presentations
- Ability to drive business outcomes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Sound understanding of policy requirements and confidence to make risk based decisions.
