Senior Manager – Investor Relations
The Position
The growth within Gunn Agri Partners (GAP) has led to the creation of a new position, Senior Manager – Investor Relations. The primary purpose of the role is taking responsibility for marketing, capital raising and Investor Relations including developing presentations, proposals and other material, coordinating engagement with investors, conducting initial communication, and managing initial investor engagement through to onboarding. This is a full-time employment opportunity. The role is available to be based at our office in Bondi Junction. Our Albury office will also be considered.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing Investor Relationships and the processes from investor prospecting, engagement, information exchange, investment documentation to onboarding.
- Leading the preparation and development of investor-related communication material including presentations, proposals, due diligence requests and other investor information and material.
- Coordinating and overseeing the analysis of financial data, security holder reporting requirements such as KYC, and research of market and industry trends.
- Preparing timely responses to investor queries and assisting the Managing Director Group in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors.
- Managing the end-to-end processes for investor events including site visits, annual meetings, and roadshows.
- Undertaking other Investor Relations activities as required.
The Candidate
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Business Management, Economics, Finance or similar.
- A background in Investor Relations or capital markets.
- Experience with working in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of investing, agricultural production, and business processes.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Exceptional communication, proven influencing, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving, numerical and commercial skills.
- Expertise in producing quality and impactful internal and external communication material.
- Excellent conceptual and quantitative skills.
- Capability to use business management systems and software.
- Superior time management and prioritization skills, coupled with high level attention to detail.
- High level proficiency in the Microsoft office suite.
- A current driver’s licence and ability to undertake travel.
The Company
Gunn Agri Partners was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American and European investors. GAP manages $800M of assets and commitments managed by the following platforms (Operating Companies):
- Gunn Agri Cattle Fund incorporating Cunningham Cattle Co investing in northern cattle production.
- Wollemi Farms, investing in permanent crop assets for lease.
- Transforming Farming incorporating Faulkner Farming investing in cropping and livestock farms and developing natural assets such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity.
- Wilga Farming Australia investing in cropping and livestock farms and developing natural assets such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity.
