- Conduct comprehensive macro risk analysis, evaluating geopolitical events, regulatory changes, economic trends, and technological advancements to identify potential impacts and likelihood of occurrence.
- Develop clear and comprehensive documentation of macro-level risks, ensuring organization-wide awareness and understanding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate robust mitigation strategies, proactively addressing identified risks and seizing growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Contract Risk Management framework in collaboration with legal and business teams, ensuring proactive identification and assessment of potential risks.
- Systematically monitor and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, effectively mitigating risks.
- Lead and support risk assessments on potential contracts and provide actionable recommendations to senior management for risk mitigation, while advocating for robust Risk Management techniques in contract negotiations.
- Organising forums and implementing regular training cycles to ensure that Macro and Contractual risks are properly understood. This may involve developing and delivering training materials, facilitating discussions and workshops, and providing ongoing support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Maintain and improve the tracking and reporting of contract deviation including requests received, reviewed and submitted.
- An appropriate business qualification such as a Bachelor's degree in business, law, or related field
- Confirmed success in a similar role, this position would ideally suit someone from an enterprise risk or consulting background.
- Big 4 Consultancy Firm experience is highly regarded or having worked within a large matrixed organisation.
- Experience with working with the business on contractual risks, including advocating risks positions and supporting the business in acquire approval on policy deviations.
- Understanding of various insurance positions and coverage types such as CGL, PI, ISR, workers comp is highly desirable etc.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills underpinned by project management expertise is crucial.
