About the role
This role will head up the planning function and growth development across Cancer Council Queensland, specifically:
Annual Operating Planning - facilitate, develop and continuously improve the annual planning activity across the organisation aligned to organisational strategy, developing monthly reporting insights and facilitating quarterly prioritization with executives.
Project Management - develop and implement an organisational framework and process for project management across the organisation, specifically relating to growth strategies, customer experience, customer relationships and program development.
This role is a Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
About you
You will be an experienced and motivated leader, responsible for managing and implementing organisation wide project, planning, performance, and partnerships relating to growth aligned with Cancer Council Queensland’s broader business goals.
Reporting directly to the Head of Growth and Impact, as a hands on and relationship-based leader with collaborative approach to stakeholder management, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team facilitating and leading growth planning for the organisation.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Data-Driven
Passion for leveraging data to optimise strategies, plans and operations.
Strategic Planning
Ability to develop and facilitate comprehensive annual planning framework linked to organisational strategic objectives.
Leadership
Proven and demonstrable ability to inspire and lead project leads, analysts and subject matter specialist roles.
Project Management
Experienced project management office skills and capability with demonstrable practical application.
Stakeholder Management
Proven approach to identity, develop and effectively manage stakeholders across organisation in collaborative approach.
Typical experience
Minimum five years' experience in Senior Manager roles and activities coupled with tertiary and PMO qualifications.
Your Leadership Contribution
Cancer Council Queensland has a Leadership Capability Framework which outlines the necessary capabilities of leaders at different leadership levels: Executive (CEO and GMs), Senior Managers, Managers, and Frontline Managers (Team Leaders and Senior Coordinators).
