- Lead the team to assess the likelihood and impact of physical risk to staff, customers, Westpac events and assets including Corporate, Business Banking Centres, Branches ATMs, executive residences, and other assets globally.
- Lead the development and implementation of operational security plans to ensure the safety and security of Westpac events including the AGM, profit announcements and other celebrations.
- Ensure risk assessment framework, methodologies and processes used by GPS to assess and manage physical security risks are leading best practice and align to AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 - Risk Management - Guidelines and HB 167:2006 - Security Risk Management
- Develop and implement recommendations and controls to eliminate or reduce the impact and likelihood of security risks and threat against our Executive and board.
- Develop reports which identify emerging security threats, insights and trends and provide recommendations to relevant business units to reduce security risks.
- Manage CEO and Group Executive close personal protection as required.
- Lead the response to security incidents including victim support, law enforcement liaison, root cause analysis and post incident review.
- Develop and maintain security risk management and assessment policies and standards.
- Manage the contractual relationships with security suppliers as required.

- 10 years law enforcement or armed forces experience
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience
- Financial Service experience highly desired
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
