Second Line AssuranceSenior Manager to take on a pivotal leadership role. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a robust assurance strategy, program, and infrastructure. This ensures that QBE Group companies within the Australia & New Zealand division adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, codes, and standards. This role will play a crucial part in establishing and maintaining adequate controls, procedures, and processes to uphold compliance across the organization. Additionally, you'll facilitate the quarterly reporting process, monitor the progress of management actions closures, and contribute to monthly reporting to senior stakeholders. Second Line AssuranceSenior Manager. We're looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of the Australian financial services industry, particularly within the realm of insurance, coupled with the ability to navigate and interpret complex regulatory frameworks. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. With experience in commercial assurance or equivalent legal/audit roles, along with qualifications in law, business, commerce, or related disciplines (preferred), you'll be well-positioned to make a significant impact in this role. Additionally, we're seeking candidates with an extensive understanding of internal control frameworks, experience in assessing control design and operating effectiveness, and the ability to provide review and challenge over control evidence artifacts. Experience in offering guidance and practical recommendations to business stakeholders to enhance the quality of control evidence artifacts and address control issues or gaps is crucial.
