As the Senior Manager Coalition Partners Marketing, reporting to the Head of Retail Marketing, you will lead a highly skilled professional marketing team of 6-10 people, providing marketing leadership to support key commercial objectives and revenue targets for the Coalition Partners Portfolio (such as Everyday Rewards, Red Energy, BP and more) and the broader Loyalty business.
You will be accountable for developing and facilitating the Coalition Partners marketing strategy, seeking to drive the acquisition and member engagement for our Coalition partners. You will develop and maintain influential relationships with stakeholders and partners, build & develop marketing plans, provide sign off ensuring campaigns and collateral reflect a high standard of marketing and are engaging and innovative. You will work closely with internal colleagues including Commercial, Finance, Product, Legal and Media, and external agencies and our partners to deliver effective outcomes for this portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be able to review offers and contracts to assess appropriate marketing support for commercial return, develop frameworks and processes to ensure ongoing post implementation reviews to determine ROI and make insight-led recommendations for future activity and ensure strategic prioritisation of marketing for this portfolio.
10 years + experience leading a team, with thorough knowledge of Partnership and/or Retail & service marketing across a broad range of productsExternal partner relationship management and extensive experience in dealing with senior management in marketing and business roles including understanding of business strategies and applying them to marketingExceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with an adaptable communication styleProven people development and workforce planning skillsExtensive direct marketing and media performance experience in a corporate or agency environment across acquisition and engagement campaigns, Strong understanding of campaign reporting and analysis techniques, including ROI measurement, to optimise future campaign performance, and ability to determine targeted campaign segmentationMarketing leadership and expertise and with a deep understanding of the Commercial, Financial and Strategic objectives of the businessDevelop and execute business and marketing plans for assigned product/brands, including offer strategies, sales plans and implementation strategiesAbility to critically review and provide marketing input into commercial contractsKnowledge of CRM campaign management systems and previous ownership for digital end to end campaigns. An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to disrupt and deliver at speedAbility to adapt to the changing needs and priorities of the businessExperience with dealing with Legal and in understanding and applying legal constraintsProven ability for budgetary compliance and profit volumeAbility to collaborate with various business functions on the design, distribution and product specifications/changes as needed.
