We are looking for a Senior Medical Receptionist for our new GP business: to support your training you will be working at our Medical Clinic in Sandringham.
Part-time
- Weekdays, with occasional evening and weekend rotating roster

You will be part of our team taking care of our patients concerns with efficiency and a smile, ensuring our patients feel welcome and listened to regardless of the complexity of the requests. Also having customer service as a top priority whilst work efficiently both over the phone and face to face. Additionally, general administration duties including data entry, diary management, file and document management, and refer patient requests inside appropriate systems.
About You
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience working in a customer service position (existing medical reception experience highly advantageous)
- Be Tech Savvy
- Experience managing a high volume of patient calls with an excellent phone manner
- Be a strong communicator who can positively engage with people
- Be resilient and able to deal with distressed patients on occasion
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise to manage daily tasks
- Have high attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
- Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Work well in a small team environment
- Demonstrate sound administrative skills and confidence using Microsoft Outlook and practice management software (we will use Best Practice).
