An exiting permanent opportunity to join our planning team as a Senior Network Planner has become available. As a Senior Network Planner your main responsibility will be to balance and optimize supply planning to meet demand.
Reporting to Planning and Demand Manager you will serve as the link between commercial team (at a country level where the plant sits) and S&OP by collaborating with demand planning, plant leadership, and business units.
Job Responsibilities:Responsible for generating the replenishment requirements utilizing the demand signal, on-hand inventory and inventory targets that deliver a comprehensive network supply plan across the supply chain organization, to meet all financial requirements, operational capabilities, and wholesalers service objectives for assigned Business Unit.
Undertaking advanced analytics and driving process improvements managing a large complex product portfolio.
Facilitates exception-based planning to maintain targeted inventory levels, prevent stock-outs and balance financial impacts
Responsible for setting monthly inventory strategy for BU thru management of Inventory Optimization tool optimal inventory targets at various locations in the supply chains to achieve the service objectives with minimum working capital investment.
The Senior Network Planner is empowered to make changes to the network supply plan when deemed necessary.
Collaborates and proactively communicates to drive a consensus approach to provide replenishment plans and exception-based reporting for assigned BU.
Responsible for independently managing new product introductions and product conversions.
Reports Key Performance Indicators for their given Business Unit complete with process improvement initiatives and prioritizes tasks and deliverables in a timeline intense environment.
Supports the Planning Manager to drive continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on all key metrics, including service targets and network inventory levels.
Facilitating / delivering training and undertaking coaching.
B.A./B.S. Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field
Extensive experience in an end-to-end supply chain role, including experience in S&OP process development and systems, experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics
APICS certification a plus
Must be proficient in data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs
Strong mathematical and analytical skills including experience with statistical analysis and data modeling
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoint a must
Ability to work with all levels and functions within the Company, and with external business partners
Self-directed and possess a sense of urgency and meets deadlines and work under pressure, with limited supervision
