Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) Unit is part of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Students portfolio and was formed in 2021 to enable the alignment of a range of learner acquisition, administration and assurance activities which are critical to the success of the UTS 2027 Strategy and in supporting the UTS Vision.
The LLE Unit consists of three (3) functions:
- Future Learners - approx. 100 FTE
- Current Learners - approx. 100 FTE
- Operations - approx. 25 FTE (excludes casuals)
About the Team
The International Scholarships Team supports the establishment, promotion, selection and ongoing recipient management of approximately 40 UTS coursework scholarships.
About the role
The Future Learners Team is recruiting for a Senior Officer, International Scholarships, to join their team on a full-time, continuing basis!
The Senior Officer, International Scholarships plays a pivotal role in delivering the scholarships functions through effective planning, conducting high-level analysis of International Scholarships, advising stakeholders on scholarships matters and ensuring compliance with relevant legislations and policy.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional planning and organisational skills, a proven track record in problem-solving, and adept stakeholder management abilities.
You will also:
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have the commitment and capability for process review and improvement
With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the following four (4) key selection criteria points below:
- Ability to prioritise and problem solve, developing creative solutions within complex system and process environments with high work volume and competing priorities.
- Excellent project planning and organisational skills, as well as a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritise and deal with competing demands with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated understanding of the student lifecycle, in particular the Scholarships activities which support it.
- Demonstrated relevant experience, in higher education (or similar) including working in team, supporting a range of customers and stakeholders in a complex technical or administrative environment.
Remuneration/Salary
Base Salary Range: $92,851 to $100,534 pa (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
