Wilmar Sugar Australia is the nation's leading sugar and renewable energy company. We are Australia's largest raw sugar manufacturer and exporter. Job Vacancy
An exciting role awaits an individual who enjoys a challenging and dynamic workforce. As the most senior role in the payroll department, you will be responsible for the operational management of the payroll team ensuring a highly level of legislative and business compliance.
Responsibilities
- Managing a small team of payroll professionals
- Directing and controlling payment and reconciliation of payroll, insurance, superannuation payments, payroll deductions and tax of +2000 Employees
- Ensuring that end to end payroll processing is delivered accurately and on-time
- Producing payroll reports and analytics
- Resolving any queries relating to payroll KPI reporting on payroll efficiencies
- Driving change and continuous improvement to realise efficiencies across the payroll function
The Successful Applicant
We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills and solid stakeholder engagement. You will be highly structured in your approach, with a high attention to detail. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities to help drive the payroll function.
Something about you
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, with proven knowledge of Awards, workplace agreements and relevant legislation relating to terms and conditions of employment for payroll. Formal payroll qualifications, SAP and/or Kronos experience would be highly desirable.
