THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Payroll Officers to join the team at Leichhardt.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Payroll Officer is responsible for the administration and processing of the Company’s payroll (for the Subiaco corporate office and site).
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll function
- Provide payroll customer service to all employees, including advice and resolution of issues
- Assist with ERP Project and work with the Finance team in data integrity and user acceptance testing
- Process employee leave notices, allowances, pay adjustments, new hire paperwork, terminations and other payroll related transactions
- Prepare reports as required by the business.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Cert IV in Business/Accounting or equivalent or extensive payroll experience dealing with complex pay runs
- Solid experience with rosters and shifts and processing complex payroll, preferably with prior mining related experience
- Ideally previous experience working in the resources industry
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience
- Good team player and able to work collaboratively
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and self-reliant.

Candidates must:
- Be domiciled and eligible to work in Australia (without requiring sponsorship) to be considered for employment and
- Able to work from the Corporate office located in Subiaco.
