Our client, based in CBD, is looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to manage their payroll.
On a daily basis you will be:
- Managing the fortnightly payroll of 150 employees
- Set up and administer staff details
- Management of ESS
- Annual salary review process including salary letters, increases and back pays.
- Financial year end
- Provide payroll and HR advice to team leaders and staff.
- Manage system updates.
- Annual Workers Compensation Insurance Premium renewals
- Maintain up to date payroll procedures and processes
- Leave reporting, GL reconciliations, payroll journals, reconciliation & payment of superannuation and payroll tax.
- Review & update HR /Payroll Policies & Procedures
- Update Payroll/HR - IR, legislative & reporting changes.
- Have extensive Payroll experience (you will be given the training in MicrOpay)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Be a strong team player
