Our client, based in CBD, is looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to manage their payroll.
On a daily basis you will be:

• Managing the fortnightly payroll of 150 employees
• Set up and administer staff details
• Management of ESS
• Annual salary review process including salary letters, increases and back pays.
• Financial year end
• Provide payroll and HR advice to team leaders and staff.
• Manage system updates.
• Annual Workers Compensation Insurance Premium renewals
• Maintain up to date payroll procedures and processes
• Leave reporting, GL reconciliations, payroll journals, reconciliation & payment of superannuation and payroll tax.
• Review & update HR /Payroll Policies & Procedures
• Update Payroll/HR - IR, legislative & reporting changes.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have extensive Payroll experience (you will be given the training in MicrOpay)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Be a strong team player
