A first class organisation that continues to grow, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Payroll Officer who is looking for their next challenge to join their team in a full-time permanent position. Full-time permanent role with the office located in Melbourne's North-East. Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Processing payroll for over 1,500 employees (with scope to grow)
- Interpretation and accurate application of multiple awards and EBAs
- Processing of new starter and leaver paperwork
- Assisting with end of month and end of year activities
- Ongoing systems administration work to ensure efficiencies and upgrades, to meet business requirements and regulatory standards
- Ensuring a high level of data integrity is maintained at all times
- Working collaboratively with the Payroll team to assist with ongoing training and development
- Responding to payroll queries
- Additional tasks to assist the Payroll Manager and broader team
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in full function payroll processing and interpreting multiple EBAs/awards
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
- Proven process improvement initiatives
- Able to take initiative and accountability for assigned task
- Attractive remuneration dependent on experience ($90,000 - $110,000 + super)
