• Assess development applications and proposals for infrastructure designations under the Planning Act 2016, Economic Development Act 2012 and other legislation in relation to corridor protection for existing and future railways and busways, public passenger Transport and active transport in accordance with statutory requirements, guidelines and procedures.
• Provide technical planning advice to both internal and external stakeholders relating to the application of the Planning Act 2016, the Transport Planning and Coordination Act 1994 and the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994 regarding TMR's transport interests.
