Conveyancing paralegal

Rostron Carlyle Rojas Lawyers are seeking 2 full time experienced Conveyancing paralegals.

The role involves working in a small (4-5) but busy team acting for Sellers and Buyers. You should have at least 3 years of sound residential conveyancing experience including off the plan sales. Experience in development sales will be highly regarded. You will need to be an effective communicator, dedicated to delivering great client service, and have strong organizational and time management skills , a detailed approach to your work, and a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day conduct of conveyancing files in a supportive team environment. The position involves the following usual responsibilities for the role:

• conducting and reviewing property searches;
• use of firm precedent letters  in drafting and preparing legal correspondence and contracts;
• initial drafting of relevant clauses and amendments as required; 
• negotiation of any required variations, 
• liaison with financiers,
• administering property contracts, and reviewing contract executions;
• liaising with clients, banks and other solicitors on a daily basis as well as across the life of each transaction;
• preparing matter workspaces on PEXA for settlement;
• billing upon completion
