Role Snap Shot
Taylors is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join our dynamic and industry leading team. Working on a wide variety of projects including master planned communities, zero emission projects, land lease communities, greenfield land development, schools, childcare centres, activity centres, retirement villages with projects spanning across the residential, commercial, government and industrial markets.
Taylors offers flexible working arrangements for this role and you will have the opportunity to work from home full-time with occasional visits to the office for team catch ups, site visits and client meetings.
How You Will Contribute
- Offer sound planning advice to our clients including Preliminary Advice, Input and Assistance with design, Preparation, lodgement and management of Planning Permit Applications and Planning Scheme Amendments
- Develop fee proposals to our existing and new clients, including pre-engagement advice
- Consult with Councils and other involved parties to obtain information relevant to submissions and project completion
- Prepare evidence and/or representation at VCAT or Panel hearings on behalf of client
Our Ideal Person!
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Town Planning (Bachelor of Applied Science (Planning)/ Bachelor of Urban Planning & Development or equivalent) is desirable.
- Knowledge of state planning legislation with experience obtaining development approvals and providing planning advice.
- Demonstrated experience in Greenfield Subdivision and/or major projects ideal.
