Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters. As the Asset Managers 2IC, you will be providing support to the Asset Manager for the management of network assets and works in accordance with corporate and divisional systems and framework to deliver safe, reliable and quality power supply with in Operational Budgets.Your role will include:
- Provide project management and portfolio management of key regional projects to achieve strategic and project specific objectives
- Ensure Assets are built and maintained in line with agreed plans, budgets, standards and processes
- Contribute to development and implementation of Asset Management Plan
- Manage the customer quotations and designs in accordance with customer timeframes and profit margin
- Undertake quality assurance checks in accordance with NIS quality assurance requirements
- Maintain asset data (GIS/ENMAC/Ellipse) and fault reporting data supporting divisional requirements
- Ensure cooperative and effective working relationship with Works Delivery team
- Diploma of Electrical Power Engineering / Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical Trade License/ Linesman Qualification
- Must possess WA Driver's Licence Class 'C' or 'C-A'
- Diploma or Degree in Project Management
- Sound knowledge in asset management fundamentals, ideally from an Operational asset management position
- Sound knowledge the regulatory requirements in WA and their impact on Asset Management
- Preferably 10 years' experience power industry which encompasses
- Experience in distribution design (minimum 5 years)
- Experience in Project management and portfolio management (min 2 years)
- Experience in power system asset management, maintenance and operational strategies, planning processes and practices
- Experience in safety and environmental management and compliance processes
- Supporting the regions, in the regions
