Eden Ritchie is seeking a Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer to oversee and deliver sourcing and contract management activities across the departmental portfolio. The position reports to the Manager, Procurement in the Corporate Services division.

As the Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage procurement activities to ensure best practice, including provision of expert advice on specifications, evaluating offers, contract management and/or administration, supply market analysis and other general procurement activities.
- Lead by example in delivering highly complex and/or sensitive procurement services for the department, in line with whole of government procurement strategy and governance frameworks.
- Manage contracts through post-award lifecycle as the single point of contact for suppliers on all contract matters.
- Establish and maintain operational practices for monitoring, reporting, and strategy identification of contract performance and compliance at agency-wide, category and whole-of-Government perspectives.
- Liaise with customers to understand their operational requirements and recommend convincing solutions that support whole of Government and agency aligned goals.
- Assist in building the procurement capability of staff by developing the knowledge and skills of team members and key stakeholders.
- Provide assistance in the development of and support procurement services strategy, governance frameworks and plans in line with strategic outcomes defined by the department and/or government.
