Due to government mandate this respected Government organisation have an immediate need for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead two crucial fleet and facilities related commercial projects.

Reporting into the Director, Assets in this Senior Procurement Manager role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead and manage the Facilities and Fleet Contracts team to deliver services and support commercial and financial sustainability goals.
- Ensure service delivery meets high standards and complies with relevant legislation and policies in a complex regulatory environment.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve EV availability targets and net-zero emissions.
- Create detailed Contract Management Plans, establish KPIs and governance structures, and monitor contract outcomes to drive fleet innovation and commercial success.
- Assist the Director Contracts in transitioning to new Facilities Management Contracts.
- Collaborate with Fleet and Facilities Management teams to monitor supplier performance, track KPIs, and manage improvement initiatives and risks.
- Review Fleet contracts to ensure they meet accountability, customer needs, and innovation requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- At least 5 years in a Senior Procurement Management role.
- Proven experience managing high-value tenders/contracts within a large and complex environment.
- Previous fleet and/or facilities management experience is a must.
- Strong experience in negotiating with senior stakeholders in a wide range of organisations (e.g. consulting, private enterprise, tertiary/education, government).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering commercial, industry, or economic development initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of technology trends, enjoy talking with engineers and laypeople alike.
- Ability to efficiently manage a large portfolio of diverse partners.
- Highly organised, with strong presentation and brief writing skills and attention to detail.
