Senior Product Manager - Consumer Lending

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Product Manager - Consumer Lending to join our high performing Consumer Lending team. In this key role, known internally as Senior Customer Journey Expert you'll utilise your product development experience and strong project management skills, as we take our credit card and personal loan offering to the next level.

A passion for delivering best in class customer experiences is critical to this role. You’ll own responsibility for the development, management and lifecycle of Retail products, services, channel and project delivery. You’ll be familiar with the relationship between these areas, with a view to achieving an optimal customer experience whilst meeting ING’s KPIs.

What are you going to do? You will be…

Working within our Consumer Lending tribe to redesign our apply journey for existing customers and bring ‘instant lending’ as an initiative to life
Working with a variety of stakeholders including notably Credit Risk, Credit Operations, UX and Technology to design a market leading experience for customers
Managing product risks and product requirements relating to the customer, supplier and regulators when designing this new experience (e.g. product suitability review, non-financial risks, financial risks , FATCA, CRS, KYC)
Working with and at times leading offshore project teams to deliver product and service enhancements for Consumer Lending
Operating within an Agile environment, adopting a continuous improvement mindset within the tribe

What are we looking for? Someone who has…

Demonstrated depth of relevant working experience as a product manager, or delivering product and/or customer experience projects in Financial Services (preferably consumer lending) or a similar industry
Demonstrated experience in working and managing timely delivery of projects with teams spread across geographical locations
Great initiative – if you don’t know the answer you will ask the question; a true self-starter with a can-do attitude
5+ years in a Banking environment
Ideally experience working with online product development platforms and process mapping tools like visio and other tools like confluence
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills and is a true team player
Experience representing the voice of the customer, have a strong vision as to how to attract and retain customers and focus on continuously improving the customer benefits ING is offering and the key moments of truth for customers.
