We have a magnificent opportunity for a talented Senior Product ManagerCustomer Data to join our high performing and collaborative product team. With Customer Data as the core area of remit, this role is responsible for leveraging our data to develop personalised omni-channel experiences that have respect for customer privacy at its core.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Championing the use of Customer Data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth, while prioritising data security and privacy in accordance with relevant Australian legislation and industry best practices. 

  • Leading product discovery, creating a product vision, and contributing to the overall product roadmap that delivers organisation-wide goals and objectives in the relevant domains. 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and data analytics, to ensure the seamless integration of Customer Data into product development processes, driving innovation and maintaining data compliance standards. 

To be successful in this team you will have:

  • Strong practical understanding of SPAM and Privacy act as it applies our digital products and marketing communications processes (essential). 

  • Experience in managing Customer Data and communications consent products (essential). 

  • Significant demonstrated experience as a Product Manager (essential), or as a Senior Product Manager (preferred). 

  • Extensive experience in developing product roadmaps that are informed by robust customer and market analysis (essential). 

  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams to define a customer centric end to end experience. 

  • Experience in leading Agile teams. 

  • Passion for improving efficiencies, processes and delivering delightful customer experiences. 

  • Exceptional planning, communication, presentation, negotiating and influencing skills. 

  • Demonstrated capability to think strategically and understand business dynamics.  

  • Well versed with product life cycle, SDLC, MVP, and iterative development. 

  • Highly analytical, ability to capture and use data and insights to drive decision making. 

  • Experience in understanding user needs and able to drive business outcome. 

Preferred Formal Education/Qualifications: 

  • Degree or professional qualification in a relevant area such as IT, Product Management, Business, Communications, Marketing or similar 

  • Experienced in IT product management, specifically with Customer Data products and extracting value from Customer Data assets 

  • Demonstrated ability to provide product vision, strategy, and leadership 

  • Ability to lead change, representing end users’ interests whilst influencing/motivating others effectively. 

  • Excellent customer research, market analysis and analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to tell a concise story leveraging qualitative and quantitative analysis 

  • Excellent communication skills – persuasive and open communicator 

  • Ability to translate customer needs to product and technical requirements.  

  • Industry aware, uses knowledge to position products/services within a competitive landscape. Stays abreast of emerging technologies to influence product decisions.
